Flynn Fellows Attend CT Center for Nursing Workforce “Student Day”

Several Flynn Fellows recently attended the CT Center for Nursing Workforce (“CCNW”) 43rd annual Student Day. The mission of CCNW is to foster collaborations to ensure a highly educated, diverse, and sustainable nursing workforce to support the healthcare needs of Connecticut residents. The event, held Nov. 7, 2023, offers RN students the opportunity for collaboration and professional development. Isabella Ulrich and Claire Clifford, recent Flynn Fellows at Greenwich Hospital from Quinnipiac University, organized the Flynn Fellowship program Exhibit.

“The CCNW Student Day provided an opportunity for aspiring nurses from many universities across the state to network with several leading CT-based healthcare systems. As a representative of the Flynn Foundation, it provided a valuable forum to share my unique experiences as a Flynn Fellow at Greenwich Hospital and promote the value of this program”, said Isabella Ulrich.

“The Student Day event was a wonderful experience. Interacting with so many motivated, passionate, and dedicated aspiring nurses warmed my heart and made me excited about my future nursing endeavors. Representing the Flynn Foundation and discussing its unique Fellowship program was very special and seeing the faces of those who are interested in this program light up as I spoke was wondrous”, said Claire Clifford.
